TEACHER
Colin has been involved in the teaching of music for over 30 years, both in the state education system and privately. He welcomes pupils of all ages and stages, and teaches to all levels from beginner to diploma.
Tuition in Piano, Singing and General Musicianship (Theory, Aural, Sight Reading) is given on an individual basis in lessons of 30 minutes, 45 minutes and 1 hour duration – dependent on the wishes and level of attainment of the particular student.
Students are encouraged – where appropriate – to take the Grade and Diploma examinations of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, in which considerable success has been achieved consistently.
Parents of school aged children are welcome to sit in on the lessons at any time, and indeed are encouraged to do so at the early stages.
