As an Organist his engagements have included radio and television broadcasts for the BBC, and he has given recitals in various parts of the UK and abroad including Europe and North America. He currently holds the position of Assistant Organist in Glasgow Cathedral.

Singing and involvement with choirs has been a life long commitment, and he has sung professionally both in ensemble and as soloist in the field of Oratorio.

He was appointed Musical Director of Glasgow Cathedral Choral Society in 2002, and has conducted all performances since in a repertoire ranging from Bach and Handel to Stravinsky.

Chamber Music and Accompaniment have always been a particular interest, and he participates in these as frequently as his schedule will allow.
